Lorraine from New Jersey...Joey (of the Joey, Jack, Jonas litter) turned 1 yr old on Saturday. I have attached 2 updated pix of him...At 1 yr he is 20 pounds and about 15 " at the shoulder. He is very energetic, smart, and independent, and makes his wishes known to us very clearly. He is always with us, as if he is afraid he is going to miss something. He gets along equally well with people and dogs. His coat is beginning to feather nicely, especially on the legs, sides, and chest; the vet seems to think his ears will probably stay short. We love him to pieces!

We love our puppies so much. We kept the names Daisy and Romeo for them because

we thought the names suited them very well. Romeo loves to give lots of kisses, and Daisy rarely gives kisses. They have such different personalities, Romeo loves to chew on chewies and Daisy loves to play. When we take them on walks, Daisy barks at the dogs, but when she gets close to them she gets scared. They both hate the rain. We are so glad we got them. Daisy weighs a bit more than Romeo now. We took them to puppy classes and they did very well! One time they went into their cage and went to bed on their own and we forgot to

shut their cage. They ran upstairs at 3:30 in the morning and woke me up. It was so cute and annoying at the same time. When you come up to Daisy and ask for kisses she rolls on her back and wants you to rub her tummy instead. Romeo is a very good jumper. We are so glad we got Romeo. We wonder what would have happened to him if we didn't get him. Daisy and Romeo love each other a lot. Romeo or Daisy will stand by the food bowl and guard it so the other one can't eat the food. They are the cutest and we love them so much. Their new siblings, Casanova and Domino are really cute, too. Bye!

Emma (Sapphire) is doing great. I haven't even had her for a week, but my boyfriend and I absolutely love this dog. She is doing well with the housebreaking and the vet that I work with gave her a good physical and everything was fine. Her heart sounded great and her knees felt good, which are the major concerns with Cavaliers that we have experience with. And as you said, she definitely is spunky! Thank you so much for this little princess and I will keep you updated if you like.

I held her most of the way home anyway! She is sleeping in it now, I tired her out with a bath earlier.
She slept the entire night by the way, woke up full of p--- & vinegar. I had forgotten how much energy a puppy has.

She is still her best friend and going strong.

Everyone here, from the people at the drive through at the bank to the neighbors, all are in love with him! He's growing quickly and boy can he run fast! My daughter's cavalier, Penny, is about 6 months old...they are getting along wonderfully. He's such a joy and so smart too.

I just had to send you the latest pics of Prince…he is, without a doubt, the most popular, best looking, and smartest dog in town, perhaps in the entire state! His ears now have blond streaks through them, and he is fur is fantastic. Hope you enjoy these…he is the most wonderful dog that I’ve ever owned.

6 Month Review From the Moin Family

Dear Andrew,

We are so happy with Charlie (Joey).He is already 6 months. He is a beautiful and smart boy. Obedient and playful. He already knows many commands and really lights up our lives thank you so much!

1 Year Later

Dear Andrew,

I want to thank you again for Charlie (Joey). He really is the most wonderful dog. My mother has never liked dogs or any animals, I also never really cared much for animals myself. My father on the other hand has always loved all animals. One day out of nowhere I decided I want a puppy and my parents thought it was just a phase and I would get over it. I stayed persistent and even convinced my mother to go into a pet store with me. Originally I wanted a maltese or a yorkie because of their size. The day we walked into the pet store was the day my mother fell in love. There was a little cavie in his cage patiently waiting for someone to choose him. A regal breed amongst all the other barking animals. That is the one, she said. She searched the internet long and hard until we came across your website and she first saw Charlie who was Joey at that time. We waited months for his arrival. I remember that day like it was yesterday I came to my mothers house after school to see this little baby it was the most extraordinary feeling. For the next year we all learned a lot from this pup as he has learned from us. He really brought our family back together. His energy and personality were great pick me ups if any of us were having a bad day. If youre wondering how my mom feels about dogs I can tell you that 1. She and Charlie are an inseparable pair. She reacts positively to all dogs now. His first birthday recently passed and i looked at old photos he has really grown to be quite beautiful. Im actually writing you this today because my father took him to get neutered and Im a nervous wreck! I hope it doesnt change him or take away his spirit. The doctor assured us it was the best thing to do in order to avoid other complications. I also hope he doesnt hate us for this. I will email you and let you know how that goes. attached you will find recent photos of our little prince. Once again thank you so much for this wonderful dog. We all love him so much!

Update 3/26/08 1 Year B-Day

We wanted to give you an update on Ginger (Ruby). This is her at One year old on her birthday (I know she probably shouldn’t be eating ice cream cake). She’s doing great. Sapphire went to the vet today. She got a clean bill of health. She had regular stools by this evening. Maybe she was just stressed from her travels. She is absolutely adorable! We were pleasantly surprised last night when she slept through the night without crying! She was in the crate. We bought her a baby play pen today for her to play, felt like it would be safer since she is so tiny that she fits under all the furniture and easier to keep track of her while she is so small. We will still use the crate for her naps and at night. She is quite frisky as well. I didn't know she would jump like she does! We are very happy with our puppy!
